Linda Lezius and Carlotta Cramer-Klett got to know each other during their design studies in Weißensee. Due to a project, they came in contact with the Wildkräutergarten (wild herb garden) in Burg and got inspired. Their exitement about pop-up restaurants, which they have already organzied, took on a new direction. Together with the young but experienced Chef Benjamin Schmitt (Hartmann’s, and Le Meurice with the legendary Alian Ducasse), they will now start the supper club series „Wild & Root“, which showcases herbs and their amazing properties.
The aim is to create conciousness surrounding the natural power of plants and herbs. In our globalized world, where everything is always available, people tend to forget the potential of individual plants. Wild & Roots wants to reawaken curiosity for often forgotten plants.
Their Supper Club will take place once a month at the Contemporary Food Lab, starting this upcoming Friday, the 4th of July, where we will be guided through a special 5-course menu, dedicated to summer herbs.
The menu costs 65 Euro including welcome drinks, a collection of inspirational notes on herbs and a gift to take home.
